2025 National Self-Direction Conference: Virtual Series
For the last 25 years Ron has used self-directed supports. He lives in an accessible apartment connected to his parents' home with multiple support staff. This session will discuss navigating the changing needs of individuals with complex support needs as they experience accelerated aging. We will discuss maintaining fidelity of staff training, sustaining relationship networks, and assuring engagement in meaningful activities while aging in place. Creating support manuals, developing connection tools and using team collaboration to meet those needs will be covered.
