DEI is being cut as people with disabilities are paid $0.22 an hour

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), a clear and comprehensive prohibition of discrimination toward anyone on the basis of disability. Yet within that act lies a troubling loophole that currently affects hundreds of thousands of workers with disabilities in the US. It’s called “subminimum wage.” And while some fight to keep it, it’s time we all become more vocal about it.
