Opinion, Honor our Veterans: Let them age at home

In the short-term, ongoing, effective collaboration between the VA (Veterans Affairs) and PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) centers, as called for by the Elizabeth Dole Act, is critical to fulfilling the promise of this landmark legislation. However, over the long-term, I call on federal lawmakers to continue to take steps to expand and implement PACE programs for the millions of eligible veteran participants across the country, and right here in Pennsylvania.
