Keeping the profiteers out of home and community-based services

These essential community-based care service programs should be supported, not exploited. I’m grateful for all the time and energy put into speaking up for home and community-based services, but a part of me fears their efforts may attract the wrong kind of attention. I’m talking about private entities that think they can make a lot of money providing disability services by sticking their fingers into the public treasury that pays for those services.
