Thousands of NJ families frustrated by long wait for disability services

Medicaid funds are distributed to these families primarily through two vehicles, the Supports Program and the Community Care Program. Because the Community Care Program generally provides richer benefits than the Support Program, there is a waiting list to access those services. This list now includes 2,200 people.
