From the desert to downtown Grand Junction, a Veteran finds stable housing

After living in a camper in the desert for a year, Dave Like was eligible for an apartment from Catholic Outreach, a long-running organization in town that helps people experiencing homelessness. He was approved for the place, and felt like he could start living again. Through his research, he also discovered Veteran Directed Care, a program that pays for caregivers in situations where Veterans may not need medical professionals, but could still use help in their daily lives. Today, Like now has an apartment in Grand Junction, Colorado and a vision for his future.
