National Self-Direction Conference

Our 2025 Self-Direction Conference: Virtual Series is scheduled for Wednesdays from 2-3 PM (ET) throughout March and April. Registration is FREE for all attendees!

Background

We've hosted an in-person conference every other year since 2009. Our virtual series is offered during the "off-years" to reach a broader audience. The 2023 Self-Direction Conference: Virtual Series featured 21 sessions and attracted over 4,400 registrants, including state employees, people who self-direct, and support brokers who typically cannot attend our traditional in-person conference.

Tools & Tech to Self-Direct Showcase

As an integral part of this virtual series, we offer the Tools & Tech to Self-Direct Showcase. These stand-alone showcase sessions are a chance for vendors to show off, explain, and demonstrate their tools or technology with an audience of state Medicaid administrators, Financial Management Services providers, managed care organizations, people who self-direct, and other Medicaid stakeholders. There are many advantages to hosting a showcase during our virtual conference series:

You pick the day and time of your showcase that works for your team, without competing against other conference sessions.
Your showcase will be advertised to our mailing list of over 5,600 contacts, rather than focused on the 500 registrants who attend our in-person conferences.
Your showcase can include up to 1,000 attendees. Premier showcases will receive the names, organizations, titles, and email addresses of all registrants.

We encourage anyone with a product or service that supports self-direction to be a part of the showcase. We anticipate showcases to include electronic visit verification (EVV) solutions, software and hardware products, technology to improve home and community living, and tools that support independence.
